So last weekend, the 16th and 17th, ~Lunesar and I went to Anime Banzai! It was so much fun! I'm surprised at how many costumes I recognized, because I don't consider myself well-versed in anime and other things, but I found that because I dabble here and there, I recognized a lot! For those who don't know, this was my first convention and I didn't know what to expect really when I went. The panels and activities there were so fun! I've decided that next time, we should stay in the hotel. The drive up wasn't bad, but we didn't get there as early as I liked and I also think it would be nice to be able to nap during the day when there isn't a panel I want to go to. Having a room would also be useful because I wouldn't have to carry everything on me.

In other news. Acen is coming up in Spring and one of my friends has made me really want to earn money so that I can fly out and join my group of friends for Acen. The other thing is, it's the weekend before my birthday and I think that's another good reason to spoil myself and fly out for a weekend with friends. Either way.... if I want to be able to do that, I would need to raise a little less than $500 for the flight and hotel expenses. If you guys have any ideas for me to earn money on the side to save up for this, I would love to hear them. If I have to, I'll open up commisions, even though I've never done them before and I don't know if anyone would be interested.
